May Month!!

HELLO!! A nice hello to everyone out there :)
Wow!! Im back to my blog quite earlier than previous time and Im happy about it. :)
So, how May month had been for all of you?And for me May month had been quite good, except for having lots of work at office.Ok lets get into good part of my May month.
This month gave me opportunity to be a part of three different kinds of social gathering.I was a part of
1.Popular Gangamma Jatre at Malleswaram,
2.Masti at WonderLa,
3.Sunfeast Marathon 09

All of the 3 social gathering was a great fun in their own unique way.I thouroughly enjoyed all of them.

Coming to first one,The Gangamma jatre at malleswaram is a popular festive event which will be held every year where people worship their deity and seek her blessings for a healthy year. And it was 81st year celebration and every year it goes on for three days with many rituals to goddess gangamma. And women dressed in Yellow sari carrying kalasha prayed for long lives of their husbands and maidens worshiped her for good husbands and there was a Huvina Karaga also. And the third and final day there was a nice proccession of goddess gangamma which was accumpanied with different styles of folk activities like viragaase, etc.Lakhs of people came to offer payers and Malleswaram was in complete festive mood all 3 days.

And here are few pics captured by me for those who could not make it for the auspicious event.

May goddess ganga bless everyone one of us.

Second social gathering in the month May was trip to Wonder la.We few friends were planning to Wonder la from a long time and May month gave us one nice saturday where all of us could make it.

As it was summer holidays for kids and also it was a weekend, wonderla was filled with energetic people enjoying their time with family, kids and friends.
We also had a great time enjoying super cool dry rides and water rides there.Even though we could not try out all the rides due to time constraint, we thoroughly enjoyed all the rides we did.

Dry rides were simply amazing even though few rides were bit scary.:) water rides were the best part and was simply good.

We tried Techno Jump, Crazy cars, Pyrate ship, Dungeon ride and high thrill rides Maverick and Y-Scream in dry rides category and enjoyed Twisters, Fun racers, Wave pool, Play pool, Water pendulum and Rain disco in Water rides category :)

And amidst all our lovely rides we dint miss enjoying our light lunch in the afternoon and snacks and ice cream in the evening. :)
And i must tell u the amusement park is very well maintained. And its a place where u can have loads of fun with family and friends. Dont foget to visit the place atleast once.

Third social gathering was Sunfeast-09 Marathon in Bangalore which was held on 31st of May.
Many people from our company had participated in Majja run (5KM) and also in Open 10KM run.I ran in Majja run and it was an amazing experience.

We(me n my friend in office) registered our name for the event with hesitation but then we decided that as we have registered we would surely go for the run.

On the day of the event got up early and i got ready with my track pants, company T shirt, my new Nike shoes and took one water bottle in Goodie bad and reached Kanteerava stadium in time and met my friend there and had a group photo session before starting the majja run and then headed for the run.

There were thousands of people who had gathered from all across the world to participate in this event to grab the prize money and it was nice to see thousands of Bangaloreans, senior citizens, disabled people who were running for different causes. And also there were so many people who were cheering the runners.

And this was the first time i actually ran with thousands of people in Bangalore. It was great!!

In the beginning i thought 5KM is a short distance and i can easily finish it but when we started with it i was getting tired constantly. At that time i remembered my dad's words "practice a bit for atleast few days, before jumping into 5KM" which i kept ignoring. But finally we successfully completed our 5KM run and were happy and feeling good about it.

After successful completion of 5KM run, im confident that i will be able to complete 10KM run next year but with prior practice.

Overall, Sunfeast marathon 09 was a nicely organised event and i was a part of this successful historical event in Bangalore. :)

All together, all my 3 social gatherings were a great fun in its own way and if u guys get an opportunity to be a part of any social gathering dont miss it, go ahead and be a part of it.I assure u its refreshing and helps us know and find ourselves better.

Hoping to have fun in coming months also. :)
So, have u attended any events like this?
If yes, do write to me by leaving a comment.I would like to know about it.
If No, attend one such event and then write to me. :)

Cheers! :)

Trip to Chitradurga!

Haaaaaiii guys,

Im feeling so sad that i could not make time for my third post more earlier than this because of work pressure and also personal issues.:( but.. i never missed an opportunity of enjoying every bit of ROADIES with its lots of twists and turns amidst my work n personal issues. :)

Hope u guys also enjoyed the "ROADIES 6.0" as much as i did.Nauman, the Bangalore boy is the winner of ROADIES season 6.0 Hell down Under. And now me waiting for the next season of ROADIES. :)

And now after ROADIES time im very happy to be back on my blog. And today's blog is about our trip to Chitrdurga fort which we did recently.Yes, u r thinking right, its the same fort which is picturised in hit Kannada movie "Naagara Haavu" where Vishnuvardhan is in a lead role. There is one song in the movie which tells the story of "Veeravanite Obavva" of chitradurga who sacrificed her life for our mother land.Anybody who has seen that one song in the movie would surely want to visit Chitradurga fort.

I was very glad that, the time had come for us to visit that beautiful and historical place. And i must say it was worth spending our one day time visiting that place.

Chitradurga fort is a really a treat to my kind of people who loves trekking. In one day we could managed to visit Chitrdurga fort,Halurameshvara (temple near chitradurga fort), Chandravalli (Historical place), Bayalu Ganapati Temple,Vaani Vilas Dam(after visiting this dam i realised that many of the songs and scenes in recent kannada movies were shot here and the dam is worth it).We could managed to reach Vaani vilas dam for sunset which was our last place to visit while we were back from Chirdurga.I have captured the sunset for u guys.Enjoy the pics. :)

We had left Bangalore at 5am in the morning in our car and we were back by 10pm in the night. Driving was extremely good as the roads were really nice. It was an amazing one day trip.:)Check out few photographs.

Really good road..

MTV Hero Honda Roadies 6.0 - Hell Down Under

Hey guys, im back with my second post. Hope all of u are doing great.

With lots of thinking on what should be put in my second post i have decided to write on MTV ROADIES, one of my favorite shows on TV. I have two reasons to select this show as my second post. One being Roadies is back with a big bang with its seaon 6 "Hell Down Under"and most importantly with twin brothers Raghu and Rajiv coming together for the first time.Second is me being a Roadies show Lover(because it is all about adventurous tasks, travelling, road, riding, knowing different kinds of people).

I have been following this show from past two seasons and it is a great show with lots of adventurous tasks, long bike rides, team work, strategies, vote outs,link-ups and above all its all about survival of the fittest.I felt sad when i came to know that the two seasons which i have followed is the 4th and 5th seasons of Roadies show and i have missed fisrt 3 seasons :( .But now as the roadies is back with its season 6.0 i would not miss anything of it.

Now i introduce u guys to the 2 Big bosses of season 6.0.They are twin brothers, Raghu Ram and Rajiv Laxman. Have seen Raghu since last two seasons and got to know that he is a person who has the great respect for women (there would be no harassment of women if all men were like Raghu) which is the nicest thing about him.He seems to be very short tempered, aggressive, violent and at the same time he looks to be cool, calm and funny. That means he is good to good and bad to bad:).And now u r curious about the twin brother of Raghu right?Actually even im equaly curious as im yet to know him.

With this info can u guess who is Raghu in the pics?okie let me tell u.Raghu is the one in black shirt in second pic.Now tell me who is Raghu in the first pic??:)

Now its audition time for 6.0.Auditions have been over selecting 20 roadies from 6 places (Kolkata, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Mumbai) acoss India.

Kolkata - Varisha Hawelia ,Kiri Timung, Paulami De
Bangalore - Gurmeet Kaur,Nauman Sait
Ahmedabad - Samrat Kaushal,Bhanu Pratap,Devarshi Patel,Vicky Arora
Chandigarh - Tamanna,Sonia Chauhan ,Natasha Sinha,Ankur Khanduja
New Delhi - Bobby Chopra,Roop Bhinder,Pradeep Singh,Neha Kapoor ,Sandeep Singh
Mumbai - Sufi Malhotra, Suzana Mukherjee

After seeing all these 6 auditions came to know that Season 6.0 - The Hell Down Under is going to be more tougher, roadies have double the trouble, more twists and turns and for sure double the pain with twin brothers in Australia but one good news for the roadies is that the prize money has been increased to 10L from 5L.This time twin brothers have selected 20 completely conflicting individuals with conflicting behaviors and attitudes. And im looking forward to see few roadies(Roop, Neha, Samrat, Sufi, Suzana) whoom i felt they can go long way in Roadies 6.0. I wish them all the best luck.

Just remembering the past.Have a look at the Season 5.0 roadies.
And Ranvijay,Ayushman,Parul,Anthony,Aashotosh are the winners of Roadies season 1 to 5 respectively and here are their photos in season order.
Hoping to see the deserving roadie as the winner of MTV Hero Honda Roadies 6.0 - Hell Down Under.

ALL THE BEST FOR ALL THE ROADIES!! :)

Okay.Bye for now. Will be back with my third blog soon.Till then keep enjoying Roadies Hell Down Under:)

Take care guys!
